Among the expected outcomes and benefits of the Investment Conference are:

  • Highlights of benefits to business community to accrue from the forth coming implementation of the EAC Common Market
  • Establishing long-lasting joint ventures and partnerships with the local business community and international businesses
  • Increased investments in the region most especially in services, Agri-business, and mining
  • Harmonised policy proposals amongst the Public-Private Sector to improve the operating environment
  • A road map of action (recommendations) before the next investment conference
  • Strengthening regional integration through cross border, inter-regional business partnerships
  • Recognition of East Africa’s top businesses with an objective of setting a standard for the business community to meet. Recognition of young entrepreneurs and women in business in the Community will also take centre stage
  • Endorsements of policy proposals aimed at improving business environment in the Community by the EAC Heads of State
